Candidate 3

MISSION

To contribute to the expansion of the Gospel as an ambassador of God’s love and grace, locally and internationally, through the empowering guidance of the Holy Spirit living into God’s mission throughout our community and the nations.  I desire for the Lord to be glorified through the testimony of unity, fellowship, humility, compassion, and mercy as Christ is embodied through a servant-leader approach.

STRENGTHS AND GIFTS

Teaching: I have the ability to teach in large and small group settings in English and Spanish through an enhanced dual cultural experience which informs a multi-cultural approach. My teaching style fosters an environment for ministerial partnership, curiosity about God’s word and mission while encouraging an appetite for an intimate relationship with God, our neighbors, and the world.

Relationships: I have an ability to develop in others a heart of hospitality and to help them come around a common goal of service for Christ as an act of worship. Valuing unity in individuals and the body of Christ rather than uniformity.

Coaching/Equipping: I have the ability to discern spiritual patterns within people and coach/equip them for ministry.

Analytical Thinking: Through discernment and prayer, I utilize my analytical abilities to assess circumstances and process information in order to provide a pathway for growth where necessary.

Vision: As a visionary leader I encourage others to be active participants of an embraced vision and strategy to create a steady movement towards the set goals.

LEADERSHIP STYLES

Relational: I lead out of relationship by being accessible and supportive of an individual’s gifts and heartfelt ministerial desires. I like to help people discover their potential and will encourage them to step into their skill set and calling.

Team: I have the ability to draw people from different leadership styles and walks of life to build teams that work together effectively. While I thrive in group brain storming sessions and discussions, I highly enjoy mentoring and discipling.

Vision/Delegation: Through my vision casting ability, I strive to generate a long and lasting desire in individuals to come around a vision and see it to fruition.

Adaptive:  I have the strong ability to contextualize without the compromise of spiritual integrity or biblical principles. Depending on the setting and through a loving spirit of hospitality, I can adapt to fit the changes and restructure plans without losing sight of the end goal and desired outcome.
